We filmed ‘Journativity’ our ITN (Into The Neighbourhood) Blockbuster, which is set to hit youtube on Sunday. What fun journeying through Rivergate Mall, with all our characters, traditional & modern interacting with passersby, getting the funniest looks!

This man rolled up to me for a bit of banter; after mistaking me for a wise man (I was a shepherd!), he got tore into me about how there's no space-man in the real Bible story nativity! I agreed with him & then tried to explain why there’s one in ‘Journativity’, encouraging him to think about how today, Jesus is with us in a different way from how he was 2,000 years ago; that in fact Jesus is with us always. Like the woman at the well who tried to change the subject when Jesus was getting too close for comfort, he tried to wrap up the conversation with, "Tell me, are you a Roman Catholic?!" to which I said, "No",

"Well that explains it, I am!" came his trump card.

At which point I was able to take him over to see Father Willie Boyd, whom he actually knew from a funeral he'd taken for his family. Thus Willie was able to get more of an ear than I got to try & explain what we were trying to do through 'Journativity', & praise the Lord, he agreed to pose for a ‘Jesus Puzzle’ photo. Not everyone sees Jesus, but he’s most certainly everywhere, Emmanuel, God with us! It was great pointing people to him through our interaction with people in the Rivergate Mall & Bridgegate!
