How'z your summer going? Before I tell you about mine I need to get this off my chest.
Last year we got a new toilet pan fitted which developed a long crack within months. Eventually its production company has just replaced it but been unwilling to pay for the £100 fitting.
I'm not surprised by this response but am disappointed that this company is not willing to acknowledge & compensate us for the hassle & expense caused. They say that it's rare for such flaws to be found in their products. If this is so, surely it'd be no skin off their nose to say "Sorry" in a meaningful way?
"Sorry" is something that the 'Fonz' was unable to say easily & it's not just politicians that find the word 'sorry' hard, we all do, but it's amazing the difference it can make to relationships.
I'm interested to hear from the pan company once they've viewed this blog & the cracked pan photos linked above. Will my new letter to them be flushed with 'sorry' success or go down the same cracked pan as before? Watch this space!
I feel a song coming on "sorry seems to be the hardest word...".
I fear you may get a 'bog' standard reply to your letter.
Indeed Mark, I haven't heard a thing yet, perhaps they're still compiling it?!?
