Groups: Home groups

We believe an important part of growing followers of Jesus is to provide the opportunity for group Bible study, prayer and celebration together. Scots generally tend to be a wee bit shy and private when it comes to discussing faith and the meaning of life, therefore it's no wonder that some are scared silly at the prospect of home groups. However, often through the invitation of a friend, many have tipped their toes in the water of home group friendship and fellowship and found themselves hooked!

Our home groups meet every second week and are spread out across Irvine (and Kilmarnock). They meet on different days and at different times, morning, afternoon and night (The Thursday afternoon one runs every week). These friendly and informal groups of 5 to 12 folk are great for helping you to grow in faith and get to know God and new friends better.

Alternating with the home groups week is the bi-weekly Wednesday midweek prayer service at 7.30pm, for informal united prayer in the Fullarton Hall. A prayer breakfast runs each Wednesday from 7-8am in the Fullarton Centre when we can pray and start the day together.

Sunday Morning Prayer: Each Sunday in the church prayer room from 10.15-10.45am. Our monthly Contact magazine contains a prayer diary which we encourage folk to use in their daily devotions. You can plug into these prayer meetings as you're able! Prayer is vital to our wellbeing as humans and as a church, giving God space in our lives and learning to depend on him for daily life!
