Community: Victoria House

Following a successful New Housing Partnership bid in 1999/2000 North Ayrshire Council developed the Victoria House Hostel in partnership with Cunninghame Housing Association. This facility provides 24-hour staffing cover and can accept out-of-hours admittance.

In 2004 Fullarton Church presented Victoria Homeless Hostel with an "Excellent Service in the Community" award at a morning service; since then we have had the pleasure of welcoming staff and residents to our Homelessness Sunday service each February. Several of our members and Rev Neil pop into the hostel from time to time to assist in any way they can (eg befriending, AA group) and annually we hold a special festive party in the week before Christmas.
